Dr Patricia Briggs, DVM

Trish grew up in Edmonton and was equestrian riding at a very young age. That is where she met a veterinarian and did volunteer work with him. Trish at that point new her love for animals and being a veterinarian was what she wanted to be. Trish attended the Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan where she graduated as DVM in 1997.
After graduation Trish yearned for the warmer climate of Vancouver Island, so she settled there. That is where she met her husband Russ and they married in Edmonton in 2001. Trish's interests are riding, golf, swimming, long walks with her dogs Farley and Olive. The opportunity to purchase Austin was a dream come true and after meeting Roy and house looking in Coquitlam it was an easy decision. Trish looks forward in serving all the clients and their pets.
Roy Gutteridge, DVM
Roy Gutteridge grew up on a dairy farm in the Fraser Valley, which nurtured his love for animals. He attended the Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan where he graduated as DVM in 1971.
Among his many interests, Dr Gutteridge has a special interest in geriatric patients and dermatology. Dr Gutteridge attends many seminars and conferences in veterinary medicine every year. He is a member of the BCVMA, the CVMA and also AAHA.
In his spare time, Roy leads a very active life, skiing, hiking or playing squash. He enjoys traveling and gardening with his wife, Desi.
